OREM, Utah (July 2, 2010) – Former C.W. Post Pete Budkevics made his professional debut Friday evening as a member of the Ogden Raptors, a Single-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Budkevics came on in relief and pitched two scoreless innings, allowing just one hit and striking out three batters against the Orem Owlz.
The Owlz emerged with a 4-1 victory over the Raptors with a three-run home run in the fifth that broke up a 1-1 tie. The Raptors return to action on Saturday when they travel to Idaho Falls to take on the Chukars for a three-game series.
