CW Post Athletics

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (March 10, 2010) – The C.W. Post field hockey team was recognized with a 2009 Gladiator by SGI / NFHCA Division II National Academic Team Award after posting the fourth-best grade point average in the nation, the organization announced.

 

The Pioneers, who registered a 3.38 team GPA, boasted 11 student-athletes who were recognized to the Gladiator by SGI / NFHCA Division II National Academic Squad, including: seniors Kaurey Foley (Mohegan Lake, N.Y.), Ashley Dethlefsen (Centereach, N.Y.), Krystal Napolitano (Coram, N.Y.), juniors Cortney Colern (Barker, N.Y.), Kristina Gustafson (New Braintree, Mass.), Sydney Hagen (Exeter, N.H.), Amanda Nann (Hamburg, N.J.), sophomores Kathryn Godshalk (Hilton, N.Y.), Heather Norris (Hilton, N.Y.) and freshmen Kellie Finn (Goshen, Conn.) and Ashley Orecewski (Bay Shore, N.Y.).
