Kohler Earns Fourth Consecutive ECC Rookie Of The Week Honor

CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Jan. 18, 2010) – Freshman guard Jonathan Kohler (Bordentown, N.J.) garnered East Coast Conference Rookie of the Week honors for the third straight week, the conference announced Monday.
Kohler led the Pioneers to a 2-0 week, averaging 18 points per game and 6 rebounds. The freshman notched a game-high 22 points and dished out 5 assists against NYIT while adding 14 points on 71% shooting against Dowling. Kohler was 14-24 from the floor (58%) and was 8-10 from the free throw line on the week.
The Pioneers continue ECC action this week as they travel to Molloy on Wednesday evening, followed by
St. Thomas Aquinas on Saturday afternoon.
