Kohler Earns Third Consecutive ECC Rookie Of The Week Honor

CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Jan. 18, 2010) – Freshman guard Jonathan Kohler (Bordentown, N.J.) garnered East Coast Conference Rookie of the Week honors for the third straight week, the conference announced Monday.
Kohler led the Pioneers to a 3-0 week, averaging 18.0 points per game. He totaled 23 points on 9-14 shooting including 3-5 from long range against Bridgeport while pitching in with seven rebounds.
The rookie scored 14 points against Mercy and handed out a career-high six assists and put up 17 points against Queens on 6-9 shooting from the floor and a 5-6 showing from the charity stripe.
C.W. Post returns to action on Wednesday, Jan. 20 at Dowling College, for a 7 p.m. matchup.
