Altamura Named ECC Rookie Of The Week

CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Oct. 12, 2009)- The East Coast Conference released its weekly report Monday afternoon, naming C.W. Post cross country freshman
Christian Altamura (Seaford, N.Y.) Rookie of the Week after the Pioneers competed in the Disney Classic Saturday afternoon.
Altamura took 33rd place out of a field of 205 runners to help the C.W. Post men’s cross country team to a 12th place finish out of 25 competing institutions. Altamura paced the Pioneers, completing the 8k course with a time of 27:32.30.
C.W. Post is back in action October 25, as they compete in the East Coast Conference Championships.
