Baseball To Face Host Franklin Pierce At Northeast Baseball Regional

INDIANAPOLIS (May 12, 2008) – The six-team NCAA Division II Northeast baseball playing field has been set and the C.W. Post Pioneers have been awarded the sixth seed in the tournament and will face host Franklin Pierce University on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Dr. Pappas Field.
The Pioneers (29-25), who will be making their first NCAA appearance since 1985, won their first-ever East Coast Conference title with a 5-1 win over the University of New Haven on May 11.
