INDIANAPOLIS - The National Collegiate Athletic Association recently announced the list of qualifiers for the 2007 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships, and C.W. Post senior Junaid Hamin-Gilliam (Freeport, N.Y.) will compete in the long jump event.
The NCAA Championships will be held May 23-26 at Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, N.C.
Hamin Gilliam posted the 11th-best leap in the nation this year, jumping to a 24-3.75 mark, May 5 at the East Coast Conference Championships/Kings Point Invitational in Kings Point, N.Y.
