8.1.2010 | Men's Lacrosse
The C.W. Post men's lacrosse team was honored Saturday evening by the New York Mets for winning their second straight NCAA national championship title prior to the Mets' home game against the Arizona Diamondbacks at CitiField. The C.W. Post players were invited to watch pregame batting practice before they were announced on the field complete with highlights of their win against LeMoyne College on the Citi Vision board in centerfield.

East Coast Conference Commissioner Robert Dranoff announced the list of 625 student-athletes who were named to the ECC Commissioner Honor Roll for the 2009-2010 academic year. C.W. Post led all schools with 135 student-athletes.
7.28.2010 | Men's Lacrosse
C.W. Post head men's lacrosse coach John Jez recently completed a tour of duty as the USA men's lacrosse equipment manager at the FIL World Championships in Manchester, England. While there, US Lacrosse Magazine featured Jez on its online website, noting his remarkable success as head coach of the Pioneers and his commitment to help ready the US lacrosse players for the elite tournament. The 2010 C.W. Post men’s lacrosse team will be honored by the New York Mets in recognition of winning the NCAA National Championship prior to the start of New York's 7:10 p.m. game against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
