C.W. Post head football coach Bryan Collins announced the signings of eight student-athletes to National Letters of Intent to play for the upcoming 2010 season.  The incoming class includes two January signings and six freshmen.

The C.W. Post Department of Athletics announced the candidates for the 2010 Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Dinner, which will take place Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at the Milleridge Cottage in Jericho, N.Y.

The Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference released its 2009 Division II Football All-Star Team and five Pioneers earned selections. Junior quarterback Eric Anderwkavich (Queens, N.Y.) was chosen as Player of the Year and freshman running back Thomas Beverly (Wyandanch, N.Y.) was selected as Rookie of the Year.

Freshman running back Thomas Beverly (Wyandanch, N.Y.) was selected as this year’s Freshman of the Year in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference East division as the C.W. Post football boasted 10 PSAC East All-Conference selections. The Pioneers were tied in overall selections with West Chester University for second most behind Bloomsburg University.
