The Toronto Nationals of the Major League Lacrosse selected Senior midfielder Mike Cama (Levittown, N.Y.) of the C.W. Post men’s lacrosse team with the 26th overall pick in the fourth round of the 2010 draft on Sunday. Cama was the first Division II athlete to be selected in the draft.

The No. 1 C.W. Post men’s lacrosse team repeated as NCAA Division II National Champions by coming back from an 8-5 deficit in the first half with nine second half goals to defeat No. 3 Le Moyne College, 14-9, as more than 20,000 fans erupted in cheers as the final seconds expired on the game clock at M & T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Md. The Pioneers become the first team to repeat as champions since Le Moyne capped off two titles in 2006 and 2007. C.W. Post also closes its season out with a 16-1 overall record, a new program record for wins.  (postgame video)

Senior midfielder Mike Cama (Levittown, N.Y.) of the C.W. Post men’s lacrosse team was named the USILA Division II Specialty Player of the Year, the organization announced. This marks the second straight year that Cama has received this distinction.

C.W. Post head men's lacrosse coach John Jez will appear on Long Island's News12 along with sports anchor Jamie Stuart to discuss Sunday's contest between the No. 1-ranked Pioneers and No. 3 LeMoyne College tonight at 8:20 p.m.  The Pioneers are the defending national champions and are playing in the national title game against the Dolphins for the second straight year, this time at M & T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Md.

The No. 1 C.W. Post men’s lacrosse team is making a return trip to the national title game after pulling out a 9-8 win over No. 2 Dowling College in front of 3,418 fans in the semifinal round of the NCAA Championship tournament Saturday afternoon on Hickox Field.
