Despite a furious second half comeback that saw the Pioneers whittle an 18-point deficit to just four points with two-and-a-half minutes to play, the C.W. Post men’s basketball team was unable to complete the comeback and fell victim to a hot-shooting University of Bridgeport squad by an 81-73 final score on Saturday afternoon in Hubbell Gymnasium.

Junior forward Aaron Hall (Syracuse, N.Y.) scored a career high 35 points as he led the C.W. Post men’s basketball team to a 77-69 win over Queens College on Wednesday evening at the Pratt Recreation Center.

Five players in double figures helped the men’s basketball team roll to a double-digit victory over St. Thomas Aquinas, 77-59, at Aquinas Hall on Saturday afternoon in East Coast Conference men’s basketball action.

The C.W. Post Department of Athletics announced the candidates for the 2010 Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Dinner, which will take place Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at the Milleridge Cottage in Jericho, N.Y.
