Senior outside linebacker Tayrance Smith (Brooklyn, N.Y.) of the C.W. Post football team was selected to participate in the NCAA Career in Sports Forum, a four-day event through which 400 student-athletes will explore and be educated on careers in sports, with a primary focus on collegiate athletics.

Anderwkavich, Beverly Receive Top ECAC Honors; Five Pioneers Named All-Stars
The Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference released its 2009 Division II Football All-Star Team and five Pioneers earned selections. Junior quarterback Eric Anderwkavich (Queens, N.Y.) was chosen as Player of the Year and freshman running back Thomas Beverly (Wyandanch, N.Y.) was selected as Rookie of the Year.

Beverly Selected As PSAC East Freshman Of The Year As Ten Pioneers Receive All-Conference Recognition
Freshman running back Thomas Beverly (Wyandanch, N.Y.) was selected as this year’s Freshman of the Year in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference East division as the C.W. Post football boasted 10 PSAC East All-Conference selections. The Pioneers were tied in overall selections with West Chester University for second most behind Bloomsburg University.
