The C.W. Post Department of Athletics announced the candidates for the 2010 Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Dinner, which will take place Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at the Milleridge Cottage in Jericho, N.Y.

Athletes from the C.W. Post Pioneers baseball, softball, and football teams gave back to their community as they leant a helping hand to Island Harvest  last weekend to help in the campaign against hunger.

With continuing rain due in the New York area this weekend, C.W. Post head baseball coach Pete Timmes announced the postponement of the high school baseball clinic originally schedule Oct. 17-18 and has moved the clinic to Sunday, Oct. 25.

C.W. Post baseball head coach Pete Timmes has announced that the Pioneers coaching staff will hold a two-day fall mini-camp for high school players, Oct. 17-18. Registration begins the day at 8:30 a.m., and activities for the day include skills work and instruction, a discussion about the college recruiting process, batting practice and at least one live game. Cost for the camp is $100, and interested players can download the camp brochure/application, in Adobe PDF format.  All participants must fill out a medical form, which can be printed by clicking here

The East Coast Conference announced the Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the 2008-09 academic year and 54 student-athletes from C.W. Post received recognition for achieving a grade point average of 3.25 or higher. In all, 628 student-athletes from all 10 member ECC institutions were announced.

Freshman Jordan Stevens (Sound Beach, N.Y.) drove in a combined five runs in an East Coast Conference baseball doubleheader Saturday afternoon against Concordia College. The Clippers captured both wins, beating out the Pioneers 9-6 in 10 innings in the opener and taking the second game, 9-6.
